Glacier Skate Academy
Support GSA in the Great Fish Community Challenge from August 4th to September 16th, 2022. The Great Fish is an annual giving campaign through the Whitefish Community foundation benefiting 70 Flathead Valley nonprofits and designed to multiply your gift through a match (the match is generally about 50% up to the first $20,000 raised). Generous Great Fish donations from 2021 covered 15% of our budget, allowing us to keep programs affordable for all! Last year 330 skaters skated with us, from first-timers to competitive skaters.
Located in beautiful Whitefish, we are Montana's premier figure skating academy.
We currently host the state's only year-round ice skating instruction and training programs for both competitive and recreational figure skaters, along with power skating for hockey players. We offer weekly Learn-to-Skate USA classes throughout the school year as well as summer camps. Glacier Skate Academy also provides year-round group instruction for Star Skaters, our bridge program for skaters who have advanced beyond Learn-to-Skate and want to continue growing their skating skills. Skaters of all ages, from pre-schooler to adult, can find a program to help them meet their goals.
Glacier Skate Academy is a member of the US Figure Skating Association.
