ICE ETIQUETTE GUIDELINES

All skaters must check off their names in the sign-in book before they step on the ice for each session.

Skaters who have not checked in will be asked to leave the ice.

Skaters are encouraged to bring water bottles, gloves, and music to the boards.

Skaters standing around and distracting other skaters may be asked to leave the ice.

Parents are welcome to watch from the lobby and bleachers at the Ice Den. Parents are not
allowed on the players' bench side of the rink.

Skaters must leave the ice promptly at the end of the session.

COACHING & LESSON INFORMATION

Private & semi-private lessons are not included in the ice fee packages. They are invoiced directly to the parent from the coach.

Visiting skaters can contact any of our Glacier Skate Academy coaches directly to book lessons. Go to the coach's information page on the Glacier Skate Academy website.

Guest coaches are welcome; please have your coach contact the skating director directly for information.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations of ice-time packages or summer camps must be made at least two weeks in advance: there will be an administrative charge of $75.

No refund will be given for cancellations less than two weeks in advance.

SAFESPORT
As a U.S. Figure Skating member club, GSA follows SafeSport guidelines and procedures implemented through the SafeSkate program. GSA strives to create a supportive, welcoming environment in which skaters of all ages and levels can thrive and benefit from the positive power of sport. All GSA adult Coaches and Board Members are SafeSport trained, background checked and required to re-certify annually to stay compliant. All skaters review and sign a code of conduct, agreeing to practice good sportsmanship.
