Adult Skating Skills
Winter 2024

Skating on Frozen Lake

The adult skating skills clinic is a great place to learn how to skate, whether you are brand new to ice skating or need a refresher. Every Friday from 845-945am, we offer an optional 30-minute group skating skills class for adults to grow their confidence on the ice with a GSA Senior Coach or you can simply practice on your own.

Who and what?
All adult skaters and levels are welcome! This is for you to enjoy, learn, practice, hang out, and maybe make some new skating friends.

Bring your skates or rent them at the Ice Den. Helmets are strongly suggested but not required.

Who is coaching?

Shared among GSA coaches and maybe a guest coach once in a while.

When?
Fridays in Winter 2024:
Jan 12 - Early April @ 845am-945am

Why?
Adults can skate, too! You can get a workout, and discover muscles you may not have thought existed until you've skated for an hour. Lots of laughter may occur and learning new things is so good for our bodies and brains.

Where?
Stumptown Ice Den

How much?
Pay $8 to the rink for ice time for each hour

Pay $15 to $20
directly to the coach at the time of the group lesson.
