Cesca trained under World & Olympic Coaches Evy & Mary Scotvold. She specializes in training competitive and recreational figure skaters of all ages. She has over 35 years of coaching experience and has successfully coached skaters from beginning classes through Senior Moves in the Field and Freestyle Tests. She has coached athletes that have advanced to the final round at Upper Great Lakes Regionals at the Novice, Junior, and Senior Levels. In addition, Cesca has coached Power Skating for youth, high school, AAA, & college hockey teams and individual players for over 35 years.

 

Prior to joining the team at GSA, Cesca was co director of Capitol Skating School at Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Rink in Middleton, Wisconsin.

Amy Arriaga Owner, Dance Elements

Amy is originally from the Bay Area of Northern California. She received her education in dance starting at the age of 4 and started to take it seriously by the age of 8. She trained in all styles Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Breakdancing, House, and Freestyle from Dance Attack under the direction of the late Sioux Lehner. By the age of 14 she earned a role on a tv pilot which highlighted a dance competition hosted by Carmen Electra and Jamie King. She performed in numerous half-time shows for the 49er's, and Stanford football Teams. She also performed with the Lakers and Kings cheerleaders for Santana. Amy has trained from numerous Choreographer's such as, Mia Michaels, Dee Caspary, Mandy Moore, Wade Robison, Mark Meismer, and Jackie Sleight.  

Luke Walrath

Prior to moving to Whitefish in 2002, this Milwaukee native had been performing in the Tony Award-winning revival of 42nd Street on Broadway. He has performed on three continents as a singer, dancer, and actor, doing anything from playing Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream in Kiev & Odessa, Ukraine, to singing for US soldiers across Europe with the USO, to playing Rolf in the Broadway National Tour of The Sound of Music, starring Richard Chamberlain. He has made numerous appearances on television and film, including the 2001 Tony Awards, Late Night with David Letterman, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. He founded Alpine Theatre Project in 2004 with Broadway veterans, Betsi Morrison & David Ackroyd, and currently oversees ATP's sales, fundraising, and educational programs. He also serves on the Board of the Whitefish Convention and Visitors Bureau. He's a proud parent of two sons in GSA's Learn to Skate program.
